I also have another WIP that is still in the very beginning stages, but I'm going to make you wait on that one ;) HINT: "Adventure is out there!"
Sorry for all the pictures, but I just couldn't stand it! These flowers (weeds?) sprung up in the back yard while we were gone. Don't they make the perfect backdrop?!
Obviously this is a Work in Progress, as you can tell by the missing right button ;) I also need to finish the road...I ran out of black thread after one side. I used Pellon fusible web, which makes the raw edge appliqué so easy.
I feel like it's missing something...any suggestions on what it needs?! Words? Cute binding? A couple of birds? Please leave a comment!!! I feel like it's so plain!
I'm linking up to WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced...go link up, or just check out some of the neat things we're working on this week!
Happy Hump Day!

It's charming. If you decide it really needs something, how about some animals watching that cute VW bus passing by?
ReplyDeleteI love that idea!!!
DeleteOh no....this is sooooo darling! I love it. A bright binding is all it needs.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking yellow? :)
DeleteOh so cute. My son and I drive VW GTi's so we are in love with anything VW.
ReplyDeleteI actually got my inspiration from some VW fans! My husband's cousin has a Thing and a Bug. We've always dreamed of having a bus or Vanagon :)
DeleteSuper cute! Do you have any felt or wool? Doing a cute animal would be fun!
ReplyDeleteI love that idea! It would really add some texture!
Deletethey DO make a perfect backdrop! It's really cute as-is, but if you really want to, you could add some fun text, like Day Trippin'" or something else that involves going places.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for partying at Needle and Thread Thursday!

This is really cute! I used to work for a botanist and always wondered what made one plant a flower and another a weed, even though they seemed pretty, like flowering mustard. He said it had to do with the invasiveness.
ReplyDeleteI really do love the simplicity of it....it's adorable!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a very interesting blog. What else may I get that kind of info written in such a perfect approach? I’ve a undertaking that I am simply now operating on, and I have been at the look out for such info.
