A Fast Finish...sort of

I'm so excited to announce that my Churn Dash quilt top is complete! I really enjoyed making this one. It was such a simple pattern, but that allowed me to get in some good practice in accuracy and color.

The pop of red turned out really great! I'm going to let you in on a secret...you'll see that precious red polka dot again when it's all said and done!

The typewriter block is probably my favorite. I'm so glad that I happened upon it in the scrap bin at Tipsy Star Quilts.

The wind was so bad that day! But at least the sun was shining.

He insists on wearing t-shirts and shorts...even in the winter! But he's a great helper :)

This project was definitely one of my favorite so far. I haven't decided how I will quilt it yet, but I do have some marvelous ideas for the back. But you'll find that out after it's 100% complete! ;)

If you haven't checked out the tutorial for this quilt yet, make sure you head on over and take a peek.

Happy Quilting!

  4. Love the church dash and the navy looks so good in it. Old, traditional block patterns never let us down. They are like a good old friend...we can always go back and visit and they never disappoint. Happy Quilting.
